SARS-CoV-2 mutation estimator EBTREE

The EBTREE is the bioinformatics tool for functional assessment of mutation(s) in the spike protein (the subunit 1, SP1) of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), representing the protective antigen in COVID-19 vaccines. This phylogenetic algorithm, which is based on the electronic biology concept, allows the assessment of the biological effect of mutation(s) in SP1 of SARS-CoV-2 viruses.

Generate EB-based phylogenetic tree

The input maturated SP1 sequences (without the signal 15 amino acids) must be properly formated in the FASTA format and shortened exactly as subsequences starting with “VNLT" and which are ending with "NSYE". For the correct formatting of the input SP1 please use the SARS-CoV-2 cutter tool.
You can use the tool for that purpose.
